The COMAEA shall aim to promote a coordinated development of architectural education, for which set the highest institutional interests, educational and professional through the following activities: To promote a coordinated improvement of architectural education through the dissemination the benefits of accreditation based on specific criteria for upper secondary education institutions of the Mexican Republic. Establish basic quality criteria for accreditation, recognizing the diversity of approaches to professional training in architecture. Set parameters that encourage the development of practices appropriate to the special characteristics of each specific program of architectural education.
